This year Land Rover celebrates its 75th anniversary, and to mark this impressive milestone, Lego is teaming up with the automaker to release a new set based on one of the company’s most iconic cars: the Defender 90.

This set is inspired by the car that ran from 1983 to 2016 and is made up of 2,336 individual Lego pieces. The set is also built in the brand’s signature sage green colourway, and even offers builders ways to modify it to include a variety of tools and adventure items, such as a roof rack, a motor snorkel, off-road bumper, front winch, etc.

“Bringing the iconic classic Land Rover Defender to life was no easy challenge. This prestigious car can take you anywhere, so during the design process we wanted to infuse the LEGO set with that sense of adventure.” said Kurt Kristiansen, master of LEGO design.

As for when you’ll be able to get your hands on the Lego Icons Classic Land Rover Defender 90 set, it’ll launch on 1 April via the Lego Store and participating retailers, and cost £209.99 / €239.99.
