Thanks to the Level-5 Vision 2023 event, we now know that Professor Layton and The New World of Steam will be a direct sequel to Professor Layton and the Lost Future, picking up the story a year after it ended.
In this new adventure, Layton receives a somewhat strange letter from his former student. Luke, who we remember had emigrated to America to perfect his detective skills. Finding yourself in this new city with aesthetics steampunkthere seems to be a dark mystery worrying young Luke, and soon things get serious for the reunited detective couple, who will see how the the city grows and changes your disposal as solve puzzles togetheras equals.
As of now, nothing has emerged about what these puzzles will look like or a possible release date for this new Layton adventure, but hopefully Nintendo has reserved a very special place for him for the predictable summer event.
