Lancia was once an iconic car brand, thanks to its prominence in motorsport during the last decades of the 20th century, but the automaker fell by the wayside. Although it doesn’t look like Lancia is looking to reclaim its title at the top of the rally world, the automaker has announced that in a fortnight it will properly present its next car: the Lancia Concept.
While Lancia is keeping information about the car close to the hood for now, we are told in a press release that the car will be fully electric and look like the “evolution of the Lancia Pu + Ra Zero” and “this is the brand’s manifesto for the next ten years”, as Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano puts it.
We’re told the car has an innovative circular roof, round taillights, and a few other design choices that appear to be inspired by their iconic ’70s cars.
As for when we’ll see the Lancia Concept, the automaker is hosting an event on April 15, where it will show the car for the first time.
