Team17 and Super Mega Team have just released a new update for the witch knight on the switch.
This one is about fixes – a bunch of different issues have been fixed. Issues that have been fixed include crashes, framerate drops, general bugs, and more.
The full patch notes for The Knight Witch update are as follows:
- Fixed crash when changing language.
- Fixed a crash when interacting with an NPC after changing the language.
- Fixed FPS dropping when controller disconnects on loading screen.
- Fixed a game crash resulting from disconnecting the controller in the Controls menu.
- Fixed issues with linked spells or the Action/Talk button to L3 and/or R3.
- Fixed an issue with missing controller remapping functionality.
- Fixed a bug where the player could ignore collision and get stuck on the wall in Giga Tree.
- Fixed a bug that allowed the player to get out of bounds in Hextinction battle.
- Fixed a bug where Rayne would spawn after death with an incomplete animation.
- Fixed a black screen that would sometimes show up during the gank banner.
- Fixed a bug where the weapon durability meter would freeze.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the “Laser Gun” spell from triggering when aimed at an open door.
- Fixed spawn circles not centered on spawn location.
- Fixed issues interacting with a beacon after using a timer spell.
- Fixed a bug that prevented Forged Popcorn from exploding when using the “Death Ray” spell.
- Fixed collision was not implemented correctly for door asset on Giga Tree.
- Fixed missing player collision in turrets in Giga Tree.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the player from switching between options when changing languages.
- Fixed overlapping warning text issues when attempting to purchase items from the Shop without the proper amount of Shards.
- Fixed a bug where character name and avatar did not match during dialogue.
- Fixed various localization typos and translation errors.
