The early access release of Kerbal Space Program 2 did not go as smoothly as Intercept Games would have hoped, as the game was plagued by various bugs and performance issues, resulting in mixed reception from the release. from fans on Steam. . But being an “Early Access” title, the studio was able to commit and focus its efforts on fixing the game’s issues, and the first of those will arrive this week, with the first patch for KSP2.

As Creative Director Nate Simpson reported in a post on the game’s blog, this update is currently undergoing quality control and should arrive on March 16. The patch will fix a bunch of reported bugs, including one that caused the Kraken to generate reverse thrust for some reason, as well as improve overall performance.

Following the release of this patch, Intercept Games also noted that the second patch is already in progressand that the developer has already filled a “nice patch queue”, but we can expect more information on this patch once patch 1 is released.
