The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett dropped on Switch this week, and we have a new round of gameplay. Fans can take a closer look at the visual novel on the Nintendo console.

Based on Ken Follett’s worldwide bestseller, ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ tells the story of the town of Kingsbridge in a whole new interactive way. Play as Jack, Aliena and Philip and change the events of the book through exploration, decision making and dialogue.

In their struggle to survive, lives and destinies intertwine. Philippe le Moine becomes prior of the small abbey of Kingsbridge. At the same time, a boy named Jack is being raised in the woods by his outlaw mother. His apprenticeship as a mason enabled him to become a talented master builder. Along with the disgraced noblewoman Aliena, Jack and Philip begin construction of one of the greatest cathedrals England has ever seen.
