When Joseph Staten left Xbox Game Studios earlier this month, hinted that the time was right to try his hand at another video game company. And we already know what his next destination is, although probably not the one you expected.
Staten announced What joined Netflix Games to be the artistic director of a new cross-platform AAA game based on the original intellectual property. We’re not told anything else, but at least it’s not a puzzle game or anything like that, because its announcement begins:
“In my professional life, there’s nothing I love more than collaborating with others to create worlds filled with iconic characters, deep mysteries, and endless adventures.”
Time will tell if that means another sci-fi adventure awaits or something entirely new.
