A new trailer puts the cosmic heroes back in the spotlight, this new look revealed during Super Bowl LVII this weekend, allowed us to see a little more about the guardians of the galaxy.

Now the third installment of Guardians of marvel studios, will feature multiple villains and some major image changes. Recall that during Comic-Con in San Diego last July, it was revealed that High Evolutionary by Chukwudi Iwuji would be the main antagonist of the film.

While another antagonist fans are hoping to see on screen is Adam Warlock of Will Poulter, who will still be acting on behalf of The Sovereign when the film begins.

So, during a new piece shared by Empire Magazine, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, james gunn, confirmed that Adam Warlock is far from being a nice guy: “It’s a little more complicated than that,” the filmmaker told the magazine. “But he’s definitely not a nice guy. What we see is Warlock’s infant form, fresh out of a cocoon, and he doesn’t understand life very well. He’s basically like a baby. “

Not only that, but it looks like Marvel Studios has big plans for the fan-favorite cosmic character beyond Volume 3. According to Gunn, Poultry he was chosen partly because of his “young” nature, for additional projects:

“People online were like, ‘Oh, Tom Cruise should be Adam Warlock,'” Gunn continued. “I wanted someone who was young, and I wanted the person who had dramatic and comedic chops, not just for this movie but for whatever Marvel uses for Adam Warlock in the future.”

So it remains to be seen what will happen to the screen for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, the movie that hits theaters on May 5th, which is to say, we’re only a few months away.
