The ESL has announced the guest teams that will definitely show up at IEM Dallas this summer. The 11 teams will not need to secure their place through qualifying matches, while the five remaining places for the tournament will be filled by teams who only need to do so.
As for who the invited teams are, they are as follows:
- Heroic
- team liquid
- G2 Esports
- FURY
- IN THIS
- Complexity
- foreigners
- FaZe-Clan
- Mouz
- evil geniuses
- And a strangely heralded TBA team, who have already earned their place through their ESL rankings, but have yet to be confirmed.
We’ll know the full roster of teams when qualifying wraps up in the coming weeks and months, and as for when IEM Dallas will be held, the tournament is scheduled for May 29-June 4.
