Two characters join the Risk of Rain 2 roster for Survivors of the Void DLC, Void Fiend and Railgunner. You’ll have to go through the game to figure out how to unlock them, and getting to these characters can be a little tricky. How to get the Void Fiend in Risk of Rain 2
The only way to access the Void Fiend is to play the game and beat the final boss as the Railgunner. This means you will need to unlock Railgunner in your profile. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to guide her through the game, survive hordes of enemies with her sniper rifle, and reach the final boss through the purple portal.

You can unlock a purple portal by randomly spawning it in your area, entering a blue portal, and heading down the Void Field portals.
Alternatively, you can unlock them by running any character in the simulacrum. However, this is much more difficult and not recommended. The above method is much easier and more likely to happen. How you do this is up to you, as both methods are doable. There is no wrong answer.
The Void Fiend will automatically unlock once you do this. The Void Fiend is a character who relies entirely on Corruption, morphing his abilities to make them more aggressive as battles progress. They have access to a long-range beam, a plasma missile, they teleport briefly and heal themselves using the power of the vacuum they have built. Healing also applies to nearby allies who help us in our fight against large swarms of enemies.
