How to unlock lock picking
You must learn the magic spell called Alohomora. Follow the main story until you get the main story quest titled The Caretakers Lunar Lament. Keep it there and don’t move it. Then move the red orb to one of the locations, again the location doesn’t matter. Then rotate this stick until the center tines begin to move, while holding the green in place.
Wait a few seconds and the lock will open.
