There are several Trials of Merlin you can find in Hogwarts Legacy, and these will test your puzzle-solving skills. A notable Merlin try is the one near the Feldcroft Catacomb Floo Flame fast travel location in the Feldcroft area. You will need to access your magic ability pool to find the solution. Here’s what you need to know about how to solve Merlin’s Trial of the Feldcroft Catacombs in Hogwarts Legacy.
What is the Feldcroft Catacomb Merlin Trial walkthrough in Hogwarts Legacy?
You can find Merlin’s proof in the Feldcroft Catacombs in the far south of the Feldcroft area. Merlin’s Trial can be found north of the Feldcroft Catacomb Floo Flame fast travel point, southeast of Feldcroft Village.

After activating the trial, several rock-like pillars will emerge from the ground and you will need to locate them all to complete this trial. Luckily, they’re not too far from your current location, but they can be tricky to find.
You can find one just before Merlin’s Trial, north of the starting point.

There’s a second one on your left, to the northwest, on top of a rock.

Return to Merlin Trila and head southwest. You can find another pillar sticking out of a rock. The fourth will be near the last, inside a rocky wall, protecting a treasure chest.

The last one is closer to the east of Merlin’s Trial, in the small forest. We recommend using Revelio to narrow its location and destroy it.

Once you’ve destroyed each of these pillars, the test is over and you can move on to your next task at Hogwarts Legacy.
