Fortnite has never stopped including lore-based missions, and Chapter 4 Season 2 is no exception. The final season features a series of Syndicate challenges, in which players prepare for a war with the Syndicate faction. One of the first steps is to restore data sinks around the map, but they can be terribly difficult to discover. This is where to find the Data Takers in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Syndicate questline.
Where to Restore Data Receivers in Fortnite Syndicate Quest
To complete this challenge, players must dig up at least two of the three Data Receivers. These come in the form of tripod-like features that protrude from small hills of dirt located mostly in the middle of the map. You then need to interact with each one to get them back on their feet and complete the mission. All data receivers can be found illustrated and detailed below.

- Data Receiver #1: To the east of Anvil Square, the first data receiver is next to a log cabin located in the middle of the medieval and forest area.
- Data Receiver #2: The second catcher is in a battle arena northwest of Mega City and is seated next to NPC CRZ-8.
- Data Receiver #3: Finally, you can pick up one last Receiver from the pond east of Mega City. The collectible is on the north side of the water.

Upon completing the challenge, you will be rewarded with an additional 15,000 XP to your Battle Pass Tier. However, you will also need to go to computers to find evidence of tampering in particular named locations. The areas the quest line takes you to are arguably some of the best drops in Battle Royale, so some might find it best to grab the Deadly Havoc Shotgun or Kinetic Blade beforehand.
