As in Diablo IIIplayers can choose to repeat passive items on Diablo IV. This is done by talking to the occultist in Kyovashad or any town that has this type of NPC. The occultist in Diablo IV it has a plethora of uses, including mining and printing skins on gear, but it can also let you reroll passive items. The specific tab you need to navigate to get new passives is the “Enchant Item” option.

You can find the location of the occultist in Kyovashad, the first major city of Diablo IVbelow.

Simply place the item you wish to modify as a passive in the appropriate slot and you can reroll the randomly selected slot. However, this will link the item to your account. This means that you will not be able to trade it with other players. Also, you can only choose to reroll one passive on an item. This means that you cannot change all of an item’s passive stats and you can only choose one. This passive can be repeated an infinite number of times, but it will cost significantly more gold each time you choose to enchant.

The first iteration will cost just over 1000 gold and specific materials depending on the rarity of the item. For example, rare items will only require gold and a veiled crystal, which can be obtained through side quests or by collecting materials. However, the overhaul of passives on legendary gear in Diablo IV it will cost gold, veiled crystal and devilish roses. Fiend Roses are exceptionally rare, so it’s recommended to keep that in mind before re-rolling passives via item enchantment.

Diablo IV will launch on June 6, 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and its Early Access Beta Weekend will run from March 17-20, 2023. The Open Beta will run from March 24-27, 2023.
