In Hogwarts Legacy, Treasure Vaults are small underground dungeons that contain valuable treasure, usually a chest containing a high rarity item. These treasure chests are not only locked with some sort of magic trick, but once you step inside there is usually some sort of puzzle involved in finding and/or opening the treasure chest. One of the most intricate treasure chests in the Hogwarts Legacy Highlands is located a short distance north of Aranshire, the village in the northeast corner of the Hogwarts Valley region. Head north from Aranshire and you’ll find the entrance to the Treasure Vault on the side of the mountain, but it’s completely sealed with bricks that even your most destructive spells can’t destroy.

How to Open Brocburrow’s Treasure Chest in Hogwarts Legacy
Right in front of the sealed entrance to the Brocburrow Treasure Vault, there is a magical circular floor sign. Look closely at this sign and you will see that it is marked with a symbol that looks like a snowflake. If you’ve already completed Madam Kogawa’s Task 1, this symbol will look familiar. If not, go ahead and do this quest now, as you will need its reward, the Glacius spell, to open this treasure chest.

So yes, the symbol on this panel is the same symbol that represents the Glacius spell, but just throwing Glacius at this panel on the ground isn’t enough. First you need to place the Glacius Cube nearby on the panel. The Glacius Cube is in the grass a short distance south of the Brocburrow Treasure Vault. Use Revelio to help you find it if needed. You can move the cube towards the panel using a Force spell, or just walking towards it, but it’s faster and easier to use Wingardium Leviosa. Once the cube is on the panel, place Glacius on it to open the treasure chest.
How to find the chest in the Brocburrow Treasure Vault

At first, the small room at the end of the tunnel appears to be completely empty except for a small stone archway in the middle of the room. But the chest is actually in that arch, it’s just that you can’t see it from the southeast side. Go through or around the arch and look at it from the northwest side to reveal the chest.
