Now that Discord is now available on PS5Many users wonder how the voice application can be connected to the Sony console. Luckily, while it might be a bit complex from the get-go, the process is relatively straightforward. In addition, the process can be carried out both from the PC application and from the mobile, and even from the same console.
Of course, the first thing we have to do is install the new PS5 software update, otherwise it won’t work. Besides, we will have to connect our PlayStation accounts (we explain how below) and Discord. Once we’ve done that, we can use it, because the “app” for the console is included in the software update itself as long as they’re linked.

Whether from the mobile application or from the PC program, to connect our Discord and PlayStation accounts, we just have to log in as usual. After that we need to access the settings menu and find the connections section. There we will have many options, but we will only have to look for the one that has the PlayStation logo.
If we click on it, the PlayStation website will open. From there we will only have to enter our data and authorize access to connect, in fact, the two applications. Once ready, we can connect to Discord through our console.

You will need to go to the settings section, search for users and accounts, and verify that Discord appears in allowed apps. If it does not appear, you will have to go to the slinked services section, select Discord, click on the link account and use the QR code through your mobile phone (with the Discord app installed) as well as the code provided by the console itself.
