The character you play as in Wild Hearts will be wearing heavy armor to protect themselves against the gigantic Kemono they will fight. However, at the beginning of the game, it offers extensive character customization that you can work on to create an ideal character that you want to see while playing the game. You don’t want your hard work to be hidden behind a helmet. Luckily, you can hide the helmet and not lose the stats associated with it. Here’s what you need to know about how to hide your helmet in Wild Hearts.

Where is the option to hide your helmet in Wild Hearts?

If you’re wondering if you can hide your helmet, we can confirm that. Unfortunately, you have to do it in a specific location. If you try to do this while exploring the world and playing the game, or if you’re in the middle of a Kemono battle, you won’t be able to do this. You cannot do this from the main menu or your normal menu when playing Wild Hearts. Instead, it can only happen when visiting a forge to change your gear.

When you arrive at a forge, interact with the Weapons and Armor section on the left side when you are on the Change Equipment screen and look down. You will see an option where you can choose if you want to show your character’s current helmet or if you want to disable it. This is where you can actively hide your character’s helmet while playing Wild Hearts. Luckily, while you’re in the world, you can build a forge if you ever need to craft some new gear. The button you click to enable or disable this information varies for each platform.

You can visit a forge at any time while playing Wild Hearts to reset your character. Again, this choice is purely cosmetic. You keep all of your character’s stats as if you were still using it.
