Final Fantasy XIV’s Little Ladies’ Day event is back for 2023. Little Ladies’ Day is an exclusive party for the world of Eorzea and themed around the Japanese holiday Hinamatsuri. It arrives every year in March to bring some fun to the fans. This year rewards a new emoticon called Little Ladies’ Dance. Here’s how to get it.
How to get the Ballroom Etiquette – Fan Fare emote in Final Fantasy XIV
To learn the Little Ladies’ Daily Dance, you will need to complete the Legacy quest found in Ul’dah – Nald’s Footsteps. This quest is only available during the Little Ladies’ Day event at Wednesday, March 1 at 12:00 a.m. PT until Wednesday, March 15 at 7:59 a.m. PT.

How to Complete the Legacy Quest in FFXIV

The quest starts from the Royal Seneschal in Ul’dah – Steps from Nald to x: 10.5, y: 8.6. The first thing you need to do is talk to Aldiytha, who you can find by bringing an Aetheryte to the Gladiator Guild and heading straight to the Court of Gold. x: 11.2, y: 11.2.
Bring the Aetheryte to the Adventurers’ Guild and find the Grizzled Historian inside the Shifting Sands of Ul’dah – Following Nald’s Tracks at Coordinates x11.4, y:9.4. Next, bring the Aetheryte to the Casters Guild in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald and climb the stairs to the Mythril Eye Reporter at the coordinates. x7.7, y:12.4.
Return to Aldiytha and show him the fan. Then you need to talk to the following NPCs:
- Willowy Noblewoman – Retrace your steps and go up the stairs to the Goldsmith shop at x: 10.1, y: 12.4.
- Haughty Mother: Bring an Aetheryte to the Sapphire Avenue interchange and head north for x: 14, y: 10.
- Restless Nobleman – Just north of the previous NPC from x13.3, y:9.4.
Return to Aldiytha one last time for a cutscene, then return just north of where you originally started the quest at x: 10.7, y: 9.1 to complete it and receive the Ballroom Tag: Fan Fee Item and the Her Greatest Fan achievement. Using this item grants the Little Ladies Dance emote.
