Blizzard likes to reward World of Warcraft players for trying out other titles in their directory of popular franchises. When Diablo III launched, World of Warcraft fans who purchased a one-year subscription received a ton of freebies, including a mount called Tireal’s Charger. With Diablo IV, Blizzard is once again offering an incredibly detailed mount in World of Warcraft as a bonus for purchasing the game. Here’s everything you need to know to get the Amalgam of Rage mount in World of Warcraft.

What editions of Diablo IV come with the Amalgam of Rage mount in World of Warcraft?

The Amalgam of Rage mount is something out of a horror movie, which is in line with Diablo IV’s setting. It is a three-headed wolf-dog with large front legs and exposed ribs. Players can mount this mount simply by purchasing Diablo IV.

There are three editions available for Diablo IV, and luckily they all come with the Amalgam of Rage mount for World of Warcraft. MMO fans don’t need to break the bank for WoW goodies if they’re not hardcore Diablo players.

Can the Amalgam of Rage mount fly in World of Warcraft?

World of Warcraft enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the Amalgam of Rare mount functions as both a ground mount and a flying mount. Note, however, that the Dragon Isles continent in Dragonflight only allows flying through Dragonriding at the moment, so you’ll be stuck on the ground there if you choose to use Amalgam of Rage as your mount.

The mount has an extremely neat flight animation. The terrifying beast will grow wings of fire before soaring into the sky. This matches the Amalgam of Rage summon animation which lights the player on fire before they mount the doggo demon.

There are plenty of mounts to collect in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, and Blizzard has taken steps to ensure that collecting mounts isn’t so demanding anymore. Luck is always involved to some degree, but most new mounts simply require patience and effort rather than rolling the dice.

Diablo IV won’t launch until June 5, but the Amalgam of Rage mount is already available if you choose to pre-order the game. There’s also an open beta in March.
