Strand is an item Destiny 2 players unlock in the Lightfall campaign while exploring Neomuna, a new town to visit on Neptune. While exploring Neptune, you can find Strand Meditations while trying to complete Vex Incursion Zone public events. It is a rare currency that you can use in Pouka Pond to unlock grenades, skins, and shards. This is what you need to know about how to get Strand Meditations in Destiny 2.
Where to find Strand Meditation in Destiny 2
Strand Meditations can drop when working in Vex Incursion Zone Public Events. These appear in Neomuna when playing the Lightfall expansion. Just like unlocking the Strand, you must have the Lightfall expansion unlocked on your account to find this resource. You will then need to prevent the Vex from completing their Raid Invasion during the public event. You can find it at the bottom of the map and you will be able to see which Strand Meditations you will receive for completing that specific Public Event.

Whether you fail or pass the public event, the chest will drop Strand Meditations that you can obtain. These are crucial resources if you want to unlock additional shards and aspects of Strand; Unlocking the unique features associated with the Strand gives you additional powers and abilities to use this new item.
Rather than buying it from Ikora, who normally gives you the skins and shards for your light-based abilities, dark ones, like Strand, are obtained through a more unique method. You’ll need to visit Pouka Pond to access these abilities, giving you a wider array of unique talents to unleash on enemies while using Strand. We recommend using one of your other items to get these meditations so you can use all of your abilities instead of relying on Strand.
