There are many mysterious items you can find in Hogwarts Legacy and collecting them will often reveal hidden secrets. As you progress, you will find various maps that will lead you to treasures and some that even contain Easter eggs. The Music Card is needed to start the Solved by the Bell quest, and completing it will net you the Harry Potter Theme Song Easter Egg. This guide will show you how to get and use the Music Card in Hogwarts Legacy.
Where to find the music map in Hogwarts Legacy
The music map isn’t in the most obvious place. In fact, it’s pretty well hidden and in an area you wouldn’t normally go to unless you complete the Hippogriff Marks the Spot side quest. During this side quest, you are tasked with going to Henrietta’s hideout to find treasure in the room with the Hippogriff. Henrietta’s Hideaway is in the southernmost area of the map, and the closest Floo Flame fast travel points are Clagmar Castle and Cape West Manor.

As soon as you enter the hideout, you’ll get a marker that leads you to where the music map is. The first room in the hideout is a puzzle where you have to place boxes with symbols on the correct plates and cast the corresponding spells. There will already be a box of ice cream in the ice dish in the room. To get the hearth, look left and light the bowl at the base of the statue. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the hearth to the correct plate, then use a fire spell and an ice spell to activate the boxes and open the door.

With the door open, enter the room with the large hippogriff statue. Go to the far left of the room and follow the stairs to the upper level of the room. Once there, keep an eye out for ground that looks slightly different. Use Momentum Arrest on the ground to stop him from moving.

Continue down the path to the next large room with many Ashwinder enemies. Defeat the enemies and go under the balcony on the right side of the room. There’s a wall here that will open, allowing you to access a smaller room. It is in this room that you will find the map.

How to Use the Music Map in Hogwarts Legacy
To use the music map, you will need to go to Clagmar Castle. This area is east of Henrietta’s Hideout. You can use your broom to easily get to this area if you have it unlocked.

When you arrive in the area, you will have to eliminate a large number of enemies. Once the enemies are defeated, locate the bells in the castle. The bells must be rung in the order shown on the card. Ring the bells in the order shown in the image below.

If you ring the bells in the correct order, they will play the Harry Potter theme song. This will also complete the quest titled Solved by the Bell.
