The first thing to do might seem obvious, but sometimes we all don’t realize that our devices aren’t as charged as we thought, so make sure fully charge your conductors. Making sure they are 100% is very important when using them for the first time. Even if you just unboxed them, they might have lost their charge in the box, so be sure to double check.
Another step that can repair your drivers is disable and enable trigger effects. To do that, follow the following steps.
- Go to Settings, then Accessories, then General Controller and Trigger Effect Intensity
- Now disable the option and re-enable it, it may help to fix the issue.

If you’ve owned a tech for a while, you probably know that the next step always seems to fix the most confusing tech issues…simply restarting it. You can easily reset your controllers for your PSVR2 and here’s how.
- The first step in resetting your controller is to turn off your PS5.
- You will now want to find the reset button on the back of the PSVR 2 controller.
- You can use a small tool like a pin to push it in and reset them. The small hole is located near the rear trigger.
- Now simply reconnect the PSVR2 controllers to the PS5 using the USB-C cable that came with your hardware.
