However, the most powerful weapon you can get in the new season is the Overclocked Mythic Pulse Rifle, a weapon that destroys anyone who gets in your way. But it’s very hard to find. This guide explains how to find the Mythic Overclocked Pulse Rifle so you don’t waste time looking in the wrong place.

Where to find the Overclocked Mythic Pulse Rifle

The Overclocked Mythic Pulse Rifle appears on the floating island in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. This island is difficult to locate as it will appear randomly somewhere on the map in the second half of the match. When it does, if it’s not outside the circle, you need to run straight into it and zipline to the house at the top. You will see it on the map as a moved place surrounded by a blue line.

While there might be a decent weapon or good loot in the Floating Island Vault, we’ve found that the Overclocked Mythic Pulse Rifle most often spawns at the Backyard Flag Capture Point. court. Run through the house and back to find this area. Then you just have to stay in the capture area until you’ve successfully hoisted the flag.

When the flag is fully raised, loot will drop from it. You’ll get a pretty decent selection of weapons here, including the Mythical Overclocked Pulse Rifle and maybe even the Havoc Shotgun. You’ll want to head to the island to get it as soon as you see it spawn. If you leave it too long, there’s a good chance that other players will come and challenge you for the flag.
Is the Overclocked Mythic Pulse Rifle any good?

We’ve spent quite a bit of time testing the Overclocked Mythic Pulse Rifle and can confirm that it’s one of the most powerful weapons to ever appear in Fortnite. Fires a nearly constant stream of pulse charges that deal at least 50 damage to shields and more to health. When aiming, you can see part of the augmented barrel lift off, which is really nice when you’re in the heat of battle.
