Fallout 76 is full of enemies that roam the Appalachian wasteland waiting for unsuspecting Vault dwellers to pass. While there are plenty of smaller enemies you can take on, taking down the big, intimidating enemies is much more rewarding. Sentry Bots are some of the most powerful enemy robots in the game. These powerful enemies roam the desert and can easily defeat you if you are not careful. This guide will show you how to find Sentry Bots in Fallout 76.
All Sentry Bot locations in Fallout 76
Sentry Bots are powerful robots with machine guns that will tear your character apart if you’re not careful. If you manage to defeat one, it will self-destruct after a while, killing you if you get too close. These enemies are not to be played with and should only be dealt with once you have progressed a bit first. There are also spawn locations for them on the map.

Sentry Bots spawn in several friendly locations, such as the Whitespring Bunker. You can walk past these robots and nothing will happen. However, if you end up attacking them, all the robots around Whitespring will attack you. For this reason, it is best to avoid attacking them there. Other places where Sentry Bots are guaranteed to be found are:

- Alpha website
- Bravosite
- location charlie

If you can’t find a Sentry Bot in one of these locations, it’s because another player recently visited the area and you can find one later. The following areas have a chance of spawning a Sentry Bot:
- 98 NA Regional
- Garrahan Mining Headquarters (In the parking lot)
- Mount Blair Trenes Patio
- East of Watoga Station
- NAR repair yard
You can also find guaranteed Sentry Bots at certain events, such as the Test Your Metal and Most Wanted events. Each of these events has a sentry bot that will spawn at the end as a type of boss for you and others to defeat. Once you’ve found all the Sentry Bots, start hunting down Radscorpions.
