Jackdaw’s Rest is a main quest in Hogwarts Legacy where you meet the ghost of a thief named Richard Jackdaw, then you must find his remains in a huge cave, “Jackdaw’s Tomb”, which is populated by giant spiders. The reason you want to find his remains is because he was holding the pages of an ancient book when he died, but finding the missing pages isn’t that easy. There’s no quest or map tracking while you’re in the cave, and it’s easy to get lost and stuck.

Where to find the missing pages in Jackdaw’s Tomb

At first, the path through Jackdaw’s Tomb is quite simple. Shortly after entering the cave, you’ll come to a locked door which you’ll unlock by hitting the three nearby symbols with basic attacks in quick succession. Don’t bother using L2/LT to aim. It is faster to move the camera and aim automatically.

Follow the tunnel, use fire to burn the web, then fight spiders. Continue along the main path, heading south and then east, fighting more spiders along the way. Then there is another door that opens by pressing three symbols, but one of the symbols is hidden in the left corner (you can find it with Revelio).

Go through the door, crawl under the rock and follow the path to the southwest. Use Accio to pull the floating platform towards you, then jump on the platform and use Accio again to cross the gap.

Fight other spiders, then follow the path to the left. When the cave opens, head north and dive into the shallow pool. Then you will have to fight more spiders, including some really big spiders. With the spiders defeated, open the door by pressing the symbol under the stone bridge, then the one next to the door. Cross the bridge and find the missing pages in Jackdaw’s Remains.
