Bosses have been rare in Fortnite lately, but Chapter 4 Season 2 has a few hidden in the spotlight. This includes Highcard’s boss NPC, who is armed with a mythic weapon and is joined by two minions. That being said, players looking for the character will have to wait patiently at a POI to find him. Here’s where to find Highcard and where to use your Vault Keycard in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Where to find the Highcard boss in Fortnite

Once the first Storm Circle is revealed in a match, Highboss’ location will appear as a marker on the minimap in Mega City, but expect it to shift over time. The boss and his AI bodyguards will circle around the POI throughout the game, and their position marker should disappear if they are defeated. Like previous bosses, Highboss has a health bar and shield, so you better bring the Kinetic Blade or Havoc Shotgun with you. Also, another proven strategy to beat him is to use one of the season’s many snipers from the rooftops of POIs, as the NPC cannot access them.

After defeating Highboss, the NPC will drop their Mythic Suppressed Havoc Assault Rifle, an assortment of healing supplies, and a special Vault Access Card. As shown below, you can use the keycard in the vault in the eastern part of Mega City as it is located on the left side of the river from the POI. This vault arguably contains much better loot than the boss, with plenty of legendary chests, Slurp Juice, and hundreds of gold.

Those who can defeat Highboss will also earn over 4,000 XP, though there are better ways to progress through the Battle Pass faster. For one, the Battle Royale Syndicate questline rewards players with 15,000 XP when each of their tasks is completed, such as winning an arcade game and restoring data sinks on the map.
