If you roam the surprisingly vast lands of the Dragon Isles in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight in search of rare quests, chances are you’ve heard of Angler Tinnak. This is a bonus objective that takes place entirely in the Azure Span of Dragon Isles, the southernmost region of the expansion mostly covered in a blanket of snow and frost. There’s quite a bit of research and investigation involved in completing this quest, but it’s a relatively short raid with a mini-boss fight at the end.

First, players will need to have a level 7 reputation with Iskaara Tuskarr in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. Once you reach it, you will notice that upon reaching level 8, you will be Angler Tinnak’s Tattered Vine. To spawn this enemy, you will need to search for three items on the ground in the Upper Frostlands. All elements are close to each other, in the same vicinity where the enemy will appear.

Where to find all three items to spawn Fisherman Tinnak

Players will need to find the broken fishing rod, the broken fishing net and the old harpoon – the fisherman will appear after collecting the harpoon. Players can find these three items at the following coordinates, located within Azure Span – Note that if you attempt to track these coordinates outside of Azure Span, the locations will not be accurate.

  • Broken fishing rod — 50.52 63.72
  • Broken fishing net — 49.97 38.21
  • Old harpoon — 49.22 38.42

When investigating the Old Harpoon, Fisherman Tinnak will spawn a short distance from the player to reduce melee range. The fight is relatively simple, but Fisherman Tinnak has over half a million HP, which can make this fight difficult for some classes to handle on their own. It also has global instances, so you can’t get much help from other players. Try to CC the enemy if you don’t feel comfortable closing the distance and finishing off the Ether Morse.
