This guide will show you how to farm silver scrap in Fallout 76.

Where to find scrap silver in Fallout 76

Much like items like Ballistic Fiber, silver is pretty rare in Fallout 76. There aren’t many items you can drop to get it, and there aren’t many resources from from which you can reliably obtain it. However, just like gold, there are several ways to get in-game cash. Make sure you’re prepared with plenty of acids and a chemistry workbench.

As you roam the wasteland, you can keep an eye out for a few items that will earn you some cash. These elements are:

  • assault circuit board
  • Improved targeting map
  • stylish hair brush
  • Flute
  • golden table spoon
  • metal beer mug
  • Scrap Assault Head
  • silver bowl
  • silver fork
  • silver medallion
  • Silverware
  • silver pocket watch
  • silver table knife
  • silver table spoon

The easiest way to get silver is to find silverware like forks, bowls, knives, and spoons. Many of these items can be found in the Whitespring Resort and Whitespring Golf Club. Many of these objects are also found in the Palace of the Winding Path. Visiting both areas will earn you a decent amount of money for your crafting projects.

You can also get silver by smelting it at a chemistry workbench. Silver ore can be mined from various workbenches around the map, such as:

  • Tyler County dirt track
  • abandoned swamp town
  • Converted munitions factory
  • cabins by the lake
  • wade airport

To smelt silver ore into scrap, you need to get acid. Be sure to farm a lot the next time you scavenge the wasteland for more scrap items.
