The Repair Tool is one of the most useful tools you can get in Sons of the Forest. Eventually, you’ll need to make repairs around your base. This may be due to a tree accidentally falling on a wall or being destroyed by enemies. When this happens, the repair tool will help you fix everything and make it look like new. Unlike items like the Rebreather, there is no need to search for the Repair Tool. Instead, you can build it in your camp.

To build the Repair Tool, you will need to gather the following materials:
The materials needed for the repair tool can be easily found at the start of the game and in many areas of the island. Sticks and rocks can be found throughout the forest simply by digging the ground and destroying small trees. Rope can be found in a large number of camps found on the island, and is usually found in containers near where the helicopter crashed.

Once you have all the materials, open your inventory with the I key. After that, right click on each of the elements to add them to the center of your mat. Tap the gear icon to combine them and create the repair tool. While you’re on this screen, you can go ahead and craft Tech Armor yourself if you also have the necessary materials.
