Unfinished Business is an Exotic quest you’ll receive in Destiny 2. It’s available when you reach the end of the Destiny 2 Lightfall campaign, and you’ll have a chance to earn the Exotic weapon upon completion: Deterministic Chaos. You will have the opportunity to solve it and complete the many activities available in Neomuna, exploring Neptune for the first time without Calus. Here’s what you need to know to complete Unfinished Business in Destiny 2.
All Unfinished Business Mission Stages in Destiny 2
There are 13 stages you will need to complete in order to work your way through this exotic quest. You won’t be able to work on it until the end of the Lightfall campaign.

Step 1
The first step will take you to the Hall of Heroes. This is an iconic location in Neomuna where you will be greeted by a stage honoring Rohan, the Cloud Strider who gave his life to protect the city.
2nd step
After the cutscene ends, the next step is to find Nimbus, and they should be in the same place you can normally find them outside of the Hall of Heroes. Nimbus will share that Rohan was sure the Vex knew how the Veil worked and were working on a copy. He sends you on a quest to hunt down the Vex and find out what they know by following in Rohan’s footsteps.
Step 3
The next step is to find Cipher Qubits and extract Rohan’s data from Neomuna’s resources. Cipher Qubits will drop when defeating Vex, who you can find in Liming Harbor on the south side of Neomuna. Also, the resources you’re looking to find are called Cloud Accretion, which you can only find on Neptune. We recommend adding an improved resource tracker to your Ghost to make it easier to find these locations in Neomuna.

Step 4 – Removing Maya
Now that you’ve collected all the data packs you can find after detonating Vex, the last one will be in Maya’s Retreat. You can find it in the southeast part of the map, connected to the Liming Harbor district. This will be the same location you visited when you practiced Stranding with Osiris.

Step 5
When you arrive on the scene, a Vex ambush will take place and you will have to endure a handful of waves of these attacks. Nothing massive spawns, and there are no big bosses, but the Vex can feel a bit overwhelming if you’re playing this part solo. After defeating the last of the Vex to appear, return to the data pack in the center of the area and interact with it.
Step 6
Teleport to Liming Harbor for the next quest step. You can find this point on the radiosonde, south of Liming Harbour.

Step 7
After speaking with Nimbus and Osiris, they agree that the next step is to follow the Vex to Black Heart, which requires various materials to get to this point. You’ll be able to find one in a Vex Compass, and you’ll be able to locate this item in the Liming Harbor Lost Sector, also known as Thrilladrome.

Step 8
With the Vex Compass in your possession, the next step is to reach Ahimsa Park and defeat 100 fighters. We encourage you to use your special abilities to speed things up, bringing the chaos of Calus’ Shadow Legion to its location and drawing attention to yourself.

Step 9
The next step will take you directly to Calus’ ship. You need to enter the Typhoon Imperator and find Silver Wings. Your HUD should have this location highlighted for you, and you’ll need to explore the ship to locate it. Unfortunately, the map does not have a location to track. You’ll want to follow the waypoints until you reach the treasure chest, then you can collect the Silver Winged Seed by interacting with one of the walls in Calus’ treasure chest.

Step 10
With all the ingredients you need, return to Nimbus in the Hall of Heroes and tell them how to proceed. You can quickly go to this location at any time.
Step 11
A new quest will be offered to you and you can find it on the way to Maya’s Retreat, next to Liming Harbour. There will be a quest indicator that you can interact with and you can start the What Remains quest. It is recommended to have at least a light level of 1770 to fight the fighters in this mission.
Step 12
Upon completing the What Remains quest, you will receive the Deterministic Mayhem and Blueprint you were sent to retrieve. The next step is to meet Nimbus in the Hall of Heroes and talk to them.
Step 13
The final step is to enter the Hall of Heroes and honor those who died to save humanity. This will be the back of the room, a short distance from where you spoke to Nimbus, and the quest will be complete.
