Hogwarts Legacy is full of various secrets and hidden treasures that you can find scattered around the highlands. If you search hard enough, you can uncover some great pieces of gear and interesting cosmetic items. Treasure chests are one of the best places to find materials, but each has a puzzle that needs to be solved. The Treasure Vault south of Irondale is a bit tricky to open. This guide will show you how to complete the South Irondale Treasure Vault in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Solve the Treasure Vault South of Irondale in Hogwarts Legacy

Irondale is one of the many villages you can find throughout the game. You can find this location south of Hogwarts Castle. It’s east of the area called Feldcroft, where you’ll encounter Sebastian a few times. If you’ve already unlocked Irondale, you can use the Floo Flame fast travel point to get to the Treasure Vault a bit easier.

From Irondale, head south until you come across some ruins on a set of cliffs. It is also the location of an ancient magical hotspot. Once there, you can find the entrance to the treasure chest built into the cliff at the eastern end of the ruins. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to open it right away. Head down the hill from the Treasure Vault and you’ll find a plaque with Glacius’ symbol on it. You will have to find the cube that goes with it.

The cube with the Glacius symbol can be found in the ruins. Head to the ruins and locate a large amount of trailing foliage over more of the building. Use a fire spell like Fire to burn foliage. This will drop Glacius’ box. Use Wingardium Leviosa to bring the box to the plate.

Once the box is on the plate, throw Glacius at it and the treasure chest door will open. There is no puzzle inside the Treasure Vault, so you can run all the way down and grab the treasure.
