There are many side quests you will come across as you progress through Hogwarts Legacy and most of them will be given to you by your comrades. One of those quests is Spot Removal and Sacharissa gives it to you. She is trying to help hide buttons and needs to collect Bubotubers. Unfortunately, she doesn’t want to do it herself and prefers to pay you to get them back. This guide will show you how to remove stains in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy Stain Removal Tutorial
Spot Removal is one of many side quests you can find throughout the game. Before you can get this quest, you will need to progress enough in the game to complete the second try. During this time, the season will change to winter and you will have many new side activities like Curse’s “Beeting” side quest. Sacharissa is not at Hogwarts but rather Hogsmeade.

Go to Hogsmeade and travel north to the Dogweed and Deathcap store. Sacharissa is waiting for you in front. Talk to her and she will ask you to collect Bubotubers for her in the Forbidden Forest. You will need to collect five.

A large quest area will appear on your map west of where the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame fast travel point is. Once in the search area, you can use Revelio to hunt down Bubotubers. They can be found in the following areas:
- Two can be found inside the Troll Lair in the area: one at the back of the lair and one near the entrance.
- One can be found in the forest to the left of the entrance to the Troll Lair.
- One can be found in the forest near where the poachers are fighting the troll.
- One can be found along the path past the poachers’ camp.

Once you’ve collected all the Bubotubers needed for the quest, return to Sacharissa outside the Dogweed and Deathcap shop. Don’t be afraid to ask for a higher price since a troll was involved. This will end the search.
