if you play octopathic traveler 2, you might see an ugly blank space on your world map. You know what I’m talking about. There’s this landmass beneath New Delsta, and it seems impossible to reach. Well, the bad news is that you can’t get there right away like many places in the game. The good news is that all you have to do to unlock this part of the map and its city Lostseed is to read Throne’s story in octopathic traveler 2.

Throne’s story begins in the Brightlands underground channel accessible from New Delsta. There is a locked door at the end of the path. It won’t be unlocked until you get the keys from the father and mother in chapter three of their story. Once you’ve done that, you can head to New Delsta to partake in Chapter Four. (This is a recommended level 45 quest.) After seeing the tombstone in the alleys that says “I’m waiting where it all began”, Throne heads for the entrance to the underground channel and heads towards that locked door at the end.

How to complete the Octopath Traveler 2 map by reaching Lostseed
Opening it and walking through brings you to the danger level 45 Deserted Highroad. You can cross this space, with a short gondola ride, to reach the town of Lostseed by octopathic traveler 2. Going through town can also lead you to the level 45 dungeon at Lostseed Castle.

Just get to both places for the first time to fill those empty spaces in the octopathic traveler 2 world’s map.

octopathic traveler 2 is available for Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC. A demo is available.
