Sons of the Forest is a direct sequel to the popular survival horror title, The Forest. To improve on the original, Endnight Games has added AI sidekicks that can be recruited to help you survive the horrors of this remote and savage island. In addition to the starting human partner, Kelvin, there is also a mysterious three-legged, three-armed mutant named Virginia. Players will randomly encounter her in-game and eventually become friends with her if they are patient and friendly. Your default outfit doesn’t seem very comfortable for the island’s harsh weather changes, so it would be a good idea to learn how to change clothes.

Gift Virginia new clothes to wear to Sons of the Forest

To change Virginia’s clothes, you need to find an outfit she can wear while scavenging around the island. Once you have a set of clothes for her, hold down the E button while near her. Your character will open their inventory on the left side of the screen and show a list of options you can equip them with. Q and R will navigate between the different pages and clicking on the item will give it to you. Once you give him an outfit, he’ll put it on.

You can also use this method to equip Virginia with guns. She is unique in that she can equip a pistol on her third arm and still hold a shotgun on her two main appendages.

Unlock the ability to change Virginia’s clothes in Sons of the Forest

To interact with Virginia, you must first befriend her. This is done over several days of friendship with her. Walk away from her with a gun and let her come to you when she feels comfortable.

  • Virginie won’t attack you, but she is very fearful at first and will run away if you approach her, especially with a weapon drawn.
  • During the process of befriending Virginia, you will notice that she will begin to interact with you and become familiar with your home. He will often bring gifts and may even dance for you.
  • Eventually she starts following you on her own and that’s when she becomes interactive with the backpack icon E.
  • You can give Virginia items and weapons, and even put a GPS tracker on her to track her location.
  • Virginia will alert you when there are enemies nearby, but she will probably scatter at first until she gets used to the fight, but eventually she will start to stay and fight.

Here’s everything you need to know to give Virginia a fancy new outfit to wear while helping shoot the cannibals. Your other partner, Kelvin, can also receive new clothes to wear.
