Looking around and exploring octopathic traveler 2 map, you may eventually realize that there is no way to access certain areas. Indeed, there is an additional way to scroll. If you want to reach everything, you need a boat. While you can purchase voyages to certain ports without one, certain areas are inaccessible without one. If you are trying to figure out how to buy a boat in octopathic traveler 2you will need three things: Partitio, access to Tropu’hopu, and 100,000 leaves.
First of all, the very possibility of buying a boat at octopathic traveler 2 this will only happen if Partitio is in your party. Add him to your party, then head to the Tropu’hopu Shipyard. (Go to the east exit when you first arrive or fast travel to this town.)
Once you arrive at the shipyard, an event will automatically trigger if Partitio is in your party. You will see a man discussing the price of a boat. Partitio will show interest in what is happening. Continue further into the area and walk towards the person standing on the dock. It’s Terry, and getting close will immediately trigger another event.
From there you will learn that you need 100,000 leaves to buy the ship that Terry built. Now, since I started my journey with Throne, I hardly made any purchases for the first 20 hours, unless I needed Inventor Skill items. (I did a group fly.) When I got to Tropu’hopu, I had the money to buy the boat. However, if you haven’t robbed them all or beat them to steal their possessions, you can get money by going through the story and general gameplay of Partitio.
If you have 100,000 leaves, you can buy the jar immediately. Terry will use the funds to complete it. You can then decide what color you would like it to be (unpainted, black, blue and red options) and if you would like a pattern on the sails (octopus, sun or trident are available). You will then be able to sail from ports to sea. This means that you may come across islands, treasures, or inaccessible areas.
However, keep in mind that the seas are dangerous! I’d say your party is level 34, to make sure the enemies lurking in the ocean don’t deal too much damage.
