Where to find the Mini Manafiend Melee world quest in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

Arcantus can be found between two pines in the Azure Archives area of Azure Span at coordinates 41.0, 59.4. This Arcane Elemental is the target of the Pet Battle world quest “Mini Manafiend Melee”. He is also involved in the Dragonflight Pet Battle meta-success.
Arcantus Pet Battle Strategy in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
There are two main strategies for making defeating Arcantus a walk in the park. Which one you choose depends on your collection of animals and the animals available to counter Arcantus.
Arcantus’ core abilities include:
- Psychic Blast: Basic attack that deals increased damage in Arcane Winds.
- Mana Surge – A heavy attack that deals increased damage in Arcane Winds.
- Psionic Storm – AoE attack that also sets up Arcane Winds for nine turns, empowering other Arcantus attacks and preventing roots or stuns.
The first method works with nearly every legendary pet battle in the game. It involves manipulating the scaling system used for environment pet battles. Non-wild NPC opponents in the game will level up to your highest pet level used in battle.
- You can use three level one pets in this fight and that makes it extremely easy.
- Arcantus is in the school of magic pets, which means he uses magic attacks and is weak to the mechanical pet family.
- Using three level one mechanical pets with no cooldowns on mechanical attacks makes this fight nearly unusable. Arcantus can only use Psychic Blast at level one, which means he can’t deal extra damage or create Arcane Winds with Psionic Storm.
The second method includes the advice from the previous method, but is a legit strategy using level 25 battle pets.
- Using three animals from the Beast family that have access to trample and spam until each is defeated works well.
- A Pandaren Mechanical Dragon Lesser or Timeless Mechanical Dragon Lesser Pet can pretty much remain solo for the entire fight. They will take less damage from Arcantus’ attacks and can deal more damage themselves.
