As you roam the countryside in Hogwarts Legacy, you won’t miss Merlin Trials. These little puzzles are scattered all over the school grounds and allow you to unlock additional slots to store more gear in your inventory. If you expect to complete 100%, how many Trials of Merlin are there to find?

How many Trials of Merlin does Hogwarts Legacy have?
There are a total of 95 Trials of Merlin in Hogwarts Legacy. Aside from Merlin’s First Trial shown at the start of the game during a main quest, you don’t need to complete any of these side puzzles to beat the game. However, if you’re looking to complete 100% , you will need to find all the license icons on the map and complete them. Luckily, finding them is pretty easy as they stand out on the map, but at least you’ll have to hover over their location for them to appear.
The more Trials of Merlin you complete, the more equipment you can have in your inventory. Obviously, that’s not necessarily what’s needed, since you only need to use one gear of each piece, and with no durability issues, you don’t really have a problem losing them. That said, if you like to stock up on gear before selling it to a vendor for gold, it might be good to have a large stockpile before you go out of your way to find a nearby store or quickly get to Hogsmeade.

Although there are nearly 100 Merlin’s Trials, many of them have the same idea. Some will require you to blast rocks, flip blocks, and roll orbs to the correct spot. Most of the time, you just need to have the right spell and you can complete them pretty quickly. However, some can be a little tricky compared to others.
