After weeks of rumors, Sony has finally announced PlayStation State of Play February 2023 yesterday, and will take place this Thursday, February 23. Yes, it’s tomorrow! But how long does the event last? According to the Japanese PS blog, around 45 minutes.

What to expect from PlayStation State of Play February 2023

Unlike its Japanese counterpart, the English PS blog was a bit vague on what to expect. We know that out of the 45 minutes, about 15 minutes are reserved for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. That leaves about 30 minutes for everything else.

Five of the games on display will be PSVR 2 games. That’s understandable, considering the headset launched worldwide today. Interestingly, the Japanese PS Blog mentions that 16 new games will be on display. Considering we’ve confirmed Suicide Squad and five PSVR 2 games, that leaves us with ten games. But fans may want to keep their expectations in check.

On Twitter, PlayStation asked fans to wait for “independent and third-party revelations”.

Could Sony have some big surprises in store for us? Stay tuned to find out!
