Similar to Vampire Survivors evolutions, collaborations or “collabs” are a mechanic in Holocure that involves combining two weapons into one powerful weapon. The hordes of adorable enemies your VTuber will face are relentless; therefore, any type of increased power to survive the onslaught of villains is essential. Collaboratives are a great way to not only increase your survivability, but also increase your damage output. Plus, your efforts to combine your weapons will be rewarded with bold and colorful visuals as you see your favorite Hololive VTuber in action dealing massive damage to your enemies.

How to Unlock a Collaboration in Holocure

To unlock a collaboration for your weapons in the Vampire Survivors Holocure-style game, you must first reach the maximum level 7 for two compatible weapons. You can upgrade weapons by upgrading or defeating a boss. Keep in mind, however, that upgrading or new unlock rolls are random, meaning you can’t always expect to spawn the same collab every time. For example, we lucked out on our Calli leg in Grassy Plains and were able to collaborate with Elite Lava Bucket and Spider Cooking on Elite Cooking before the 7th minute.
Collaborations do not happen automatically in Holocure. After acquiring two max level weapons, look for a golden anvil. This item has a different function and appearance than the standard anvil, which allows you to improve the strength of your weapon. Once he appears, interact with him to start a collaboration in Holocure. Select two compatible weapons and continue to combine them into your combined weapon form.

Please note that the game is still in development, so some collaborations may change or new ones may be added in the future.
