He Forbidden Horizon West: The Burning Shores expansion will introduce Aloy to a new companion, Seyka. Players can expect to spend plenty of time with this new ally as they explore the ruins of Los Angeles.

Details on Seyka can be found in a recent PS blog post explaining the new DLC in more detail. Developer Guerrilla Games describes her as “an ambitious marine who worked hard to help her people survive.”
The post goes on to explain how “Aloy will spend a lot of time with her throughout the story and rely on her help in many situations, a position she doesn’t often find herself in.”
Seyka’s personality is also joked: “Confident, compassionate, and fierce, Seyka is unlike anyone Aloy has ever met, and she plays an important role in the next chapter of Aloy’s journey.”
Players won’t have to wait long to meet Seyka for themselves, as the Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores expansion launches on April 19.
Those wishing to meet Seyka will need to ensure that they have completed the main story missions, as this is a requirement to start the new DLC.
As for Horizon’s sequel, a multiplayer spin-off could be in the works that features a cartoonish aesthetic.
