Hogwarts Legacy may delight Harry Potter fans, but it’s not without its flaws. As proof, one of the game’s characters has officially become one of the most hated in the entire franchise for a surprising reason.

This week marks the official launch of Hogwarts Legacy for one month. Real phenomenon of this beginning of the year, the title of Avalanche Software, which has already sold more than 12 million copies, has thus made the happiness of a large number of Harry Potter fans, who did not hide his enthusiasm at the idea of immersing himself in an RPG in the colors of the license. But like all work, the game has a few flaws… and one of them deeply irritates players.

This Hogwarts Legacy character is hated by players

RPG fans are used to, it’s not uncommon to hear some NPCs repeating the same lines of dialogue several times during the adventure. However, the more time passes, the more the studios try to hide this problem, in particular by varying the lines more so as not to annoy the players. Unfortunately, this is far from the case of Hogwarts Legacy, and it does not stop reacting on social networks. Test, one of the characters in the game is now one of the most hated in the saga for this.

“Are we on another adventure? by HarryPotterGame

And the funny thing is that it’s not even a real character, strictly speaking, sincehere is Ignatia Wildsmith, the statue that allows you to quickly teleport around the map. A statue which, in the pure Harry Potter tradition, is nevertheless endowed with speech, testifies to this. his annoying habit of repeating “Travel was incredibly painful before I invented Floo Powder” as soon as you pass. Precisely for this reason, he ended up attracting the wrath of the players, who now bear him an undisguised hatred.

A defect far from isolated

That said, she is far from the only one to suffer from this problem. Our own avatar turns out to be particularly talkative when exploring it, and over the hours many lines end up coming back again and again.. “Is there anything more comfortable than Hogsmeade?, “Sometimes I feel like all roads lead to Hogsmeade” O “A castle! It must have shone in the days of its greatness. There are as many examples as it is possible to cite and they never cease to tire players. If a sequel is to see the light of day, we hope that Avalanche Software will remember it.

As a reminder, Hogwarts Legacy is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will arrive on April 4 on PS4 and Xbox One, then July 25 on Nintendo Switch.
