A few days ago we shared with you the words of Alan Tew, Director of Development, who said thatno expansion is currently planned for the game. Indeed, the teams wanted to focus on launching their software with great fanfare, and we can perfectly understand them!

Wishing to react to the many rumors about this eventuality, Eric Brown, one of the game’s developers, recalled via his Twitter account thatthere was still a lot of work to do, since the title has yet to see the light of day on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
A better way to frame Alan’s answer to the DLC question is to remember that we’ve only released half of our SKUs so far.

The man thus declares that “people still do not have the game in their hands” and that he will do everything possible to each iteration is the best it can be. So we probably shouldn’t wait for an expansion announcement before all the releases arrive, but this could very well be made official later…
Therefore, Hogwarts Legacy can be accessed from February 10 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. The players PS4 and Xbox One will have to wait until April 4 before you can enjoy it, while the Nintendo Switch version will launch on July 25.
