Players will have to wait a little longer for a much-needed PS5 update to fix bugs and a broken trophy in Hogwarts Legacy after Avalanche Software announced that the patch had been delayed for a few days. The bad news is that Xbox Series X|S and PC players will get the update today.

When will the next Hogwarts Legacy PS5 patch be released?

Avalanche is “aiming later this week” for the next PS5 Hogwarts Legacy patch after the team found it needed to be pushed back “by a few days”. The same update is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S today, February 14.

The patch notes for the update are not yet available, although we know the patch will fix the broken Collector’s Edition trophy where players are bothered by a broken meter in-game. The patch is also expected to fix bugs and performance issues, hopefully including the many crashing issues that players have also been experiencing. Despite its issues, Hogwarts Legacy was a massive hit for the studio, eclipsing Elden Ring’s launch sales and taking Twitch by storm.

The good news is that in the meantime, players can get a free PS5 avatar set, as well as participate in the limited-time PlayStation House Cup giveaway for a chance to win a PS5 console and the Legacy Edition. Hogwarts Collector.
