Avalanche Software promised to release a Hogwarts Legacy Update coming early next week, which will include a PS5 buggy collectibles trophy patch. The news regarding the day one update has been confusing to say the least, as WB previously promised a day one patch which has yet to be released.

Hogwarts Legacy Update Will Retroactively Fix PS5 Collector’s Trophy

The PS5 trophy for getting Hogwarts Legacy collectibles has a broken counter and doesn’t seem to be tracking what players collect. As a result, the trophy is impossible to unlock for some players, which also makes Platinum unobtainable.

This was first pointed out by renowned trophy hunter Brian English, who was assured by Chandler Wood of Avalanche Studios that the trophy will be fixed on Tuesday 13th February and will fix the counter retroactively so players don’t have to go back.

The full list of known Hogwarts Legacy issues that are currently under investigation can be found on the game’s official website.
