He Hogwarts Legacy Player Count reached a new high after the full PC release of the Harry Potter RPG game. Despite reports of PC crashing and frame rate stuttering issues, The Wizard’s Adventure was the second most played game on Steam for the first full day after release, beating games like Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds , Apex Legends, and Grand Theft Auto 5. as players choose their Hogwarts Legacy home and explore the magical castle.
Hogwarts Legacy Steam player count peaked at 807,112 concurrent players on February 11. This spike occurred at 12 p.m. PST / 3 p.m. EST / 8 p.m. GMT / 9 p.m.
That number saw Hogwarts Legacy rise comfortably above free-to-play games like Dota 2 (653,083), battle royale games PUBG: Battlegrounds (452,934) and Apex Legends (441,884), and Rockstar’s GTA 5. (162,232) for the day, though that’s still a far cry from Valve’s CS:GO FPS game, which hit its own high of 1,320,219 concurrent earlier in the day.
This number also makes the Hogwarts Legacy player the eighth highest concurrent number of all time on Steam, putting it above games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Goose Goose Duck. However, that’s not enough to beat the all-time highs of Amazon Games MMORPGs New World and Lost Ark, or RPGs Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077.

The release of Hogwarts Legacy for PC sparked numerous complaints about frame rate stuttering, as well as reports of Hogwarts Legacy for PC crashing issues.
