The developers of Hogwarts Legacy presented some statistics of the game. They show how the work of Avalanche Software has become a phenomenon.

A month has passed since the release of Hogwarts Legacy. This relatively short time allows us to recognize the work of Avalanche Software as an undeniable success. Dozens of fans from the Harry Potter universe enthusiastically joined the game and have been playing it ever since, as evidenced by the fact that at the time of this writing, Legacy of Hogwarts is running on nearly 107,000 Steam users.

The developer and publisher, Warner Bros., decided to celebrate the first month of existence modestly, post a bunch of game stats on Blood. It turns out that Hogwarts Legacy players:

  • have already played a total of 406 million hours (across all platforms);
  • they have cultivated 674 million magic plants;
  • have brewed 405 million potions;
  • defeated 2.25 billion dark wizards.

These figures speak volumes about the interest enjoyed by Hogwarts Legacy. The above statistics can be further enriched with the percentage of people who have completed the game. Depending on the criterion used – whether you want to see the subtitles or not – two productions tell us about it: “Heroes of Hogwarts” and “Quest for Knowledge”. You can find the data for them in the table below (Xbox looks a bit bloated compared to PC and PS5).

And it’s dreading to think how much the stats will increase when Hogwarts Legacy finally launches on 8th Gen consoles. As a reminder, a few days ago the PS4 and XOne versions were delayed again – they will be released on May 5th. On Switch, meanwhile, the game is set to arrive on July 25.
