Today publisher Catness Game Studios and developer Infinity Experience shared a final release date for Chronicles of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu’s Wrath. The title will launch on Switch on May 26, 2023.
Chronicles of 2 Heroes was already confirmed for Switch in January 2022. The action platformer was originally slated for release last year.

Chronicles of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu’s Wrath is an intense 16-bit action platformer featuring elements of Metroidvania, Japanese mythos, and beautiful pixel art. That’s not all: you can switch between protagonists in real time! Ayame and Kensei have incredible and unique fighting styles that you must master to save feudal Japan from Amaterasu’s wrath.
Amaterasu and his disciple, Empress Himiko, rule feudal Japan with their mighty yokai army. All hope rests with Kensei the samurai and Ayame the kunoichi, two brothers who have trained for years to defeat the goddess. Combining their skills, they will join the imperial capital of Osaka to steal the three sacred treasures, the Empress’ source of power.
