Activision has confirmed that World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Update 10.1, Embers of Neltharionthe next will come March 21st with many new features. New characters, a new map, races, and new bosses are just some of the new features the update promises.

a new story

Neltharion’s Embers will continue the story from the previous patch (10.07). Darkness threatens the world after the Incarnations gather to prepare for a great attack. The most powerful experiences of Nelharion, Guardian of the Earth fallen (also known as Deathwing), are hidden in his laboratory, Aberrus, the Dark Cristol.
Now a group of rebels called Sundered Flame want to claim Aberrus as their heritage. Fryakk must unite the Djaradin tribes of the caverns of Zaralek to prevent the Shattered Flame from taking over the lab.

Explore Zaralek Cave

A new area is coming to the Dragonflight universe called Zaralek Cavern. There will be three new biomes, each with three different entrances; Thaldraszus, the azure reach or the plains of Ohn’ahara. These biomes will be completely different from each other. Players will find areas with flames and lava, toxic gases, and even a completely crystallized place full of color.

As mentioned earlier, these caverns are teeming with unique races native to this location. An example is the Niffenm, some workers in the form of moles with a highly developed sense of smell. Although not all will be peaceful workers, there will also be warriors, such as the djaradin, a very dangerous tribe. You can also find animals and other native races in these caves.

These will not be the only novelties. There will be new missions, both in the cave and in the dragon islands. These missions will tie into the new Aberrus narrative keeping the stories pending from the latest patch. On top of that, there will be new bosses, nine in total, for players to face.

Embers of Neltharion will be available for now on the Public Test Realm (PTR) starting today, March 9, until its official release on March 21.
