Excellent results for the very young streaming service and for the series on the icon of Microsoft gaming
The launch of the Halowith Pablo Schreiber in the role of Master Chief. It was a real success, a record launch for the young streaming service Paramount+ (for now not yet available in Italy, ed). Certainly it is not certain that as a record it will last, given the short history of the service, but it is still a great start.
The Halo TV series has therefore reached the record number of viewers for a production of the Paramount + catalog.
The launch of the series took place on March 24, 2022 (two days ago, ed), precisely on Paramount+ (for North America) and available in Italy through Sky or the streaming service NOW, for now only in the original language (English) with subtitles. The version with Italian dubbing will instead be made available on March 28, 2022. If you are interested in the series but still have some doubts, which keeps you from starting the vision, then perhaps our review of the first two episodes, so you can count on one more opinion in your decision-making process – mind you, the review is absolutely NO SPOILER.
The response of critics and audiences to the series of Halo it is, for the moment, generally positive. No exact numbers relating to the series have been released, but Paramount+ talk about a record for the platform, and the portal Deadline speaks of it as the most viewed TV series currently on its catalog and streaming service. The previous record belonged to 1883prequel of Yellowstonewhich had kept 4.9 million viewers glued to the screen at the launch, so even if we don’t know the exact numbers, we can say for sure that those of Halo have exceeded that figure.
Initially, the production of the series was entrusted to Showtime to then pass into the hands of Paramount together with The Man Who Fell to Earth. The tv series of Halo was born from the collaboration of Paramount Of 343 Industries and of Amblin Television. The series was renewed for a second season well before the debut season was launched, so before we could weigh the results. A decision that demonstrates the confidence that producers have in this subject.

Do you appreciate the introspective cut entrusted to the plot, or would you have preferred more strictly action sci-fi tones similar to those that characterize the luckiest titles in the series?
