Halo Infinite will receive its biggest multiplayer update yet next month, when “Echoes Within” hits Xbox consoles and PC on March 7. The game’s third big season includes 3 new crafting maps, new weapons and gear, new Forge content, and more.
It’s all shown in the launch trailer above, with Big Team Battle’s new ‘Oasis’ map taking center stage. This is the first Halo Infinite BTB tier we’ve seen in a while, so it’s a very welcome addition.
The new “Bandit” weapon also looks a lot of fun, reminiscent of the DMR days of Halo: Reach. We can see ourselves blowing up a lot of Spartan domes with this weapon when Season 3 rolls around!
Along with two more Arena maps created by the developers, there’s also more content curated by Forge, and one Forge addition in particular caught our eye. 343 highlights the “Art’s Room” map in this trailer, where the shrunken Spartans face off in what appears to be someone’s office. Serious “Toy Story” atmosphere with this one!
After all the much-discussed content issues with the Halo Infinite live service, this looks like a great Infinite update for Halo fans. everything starts March 7 when ‘Season 3: Echoes Within’ was released for Halo Infinite.
